Re working of a piece from Last Year. Still titled "John the Baptist meets with Neal Cassady and
Mary
Lynn Rajskub." But I removed the weird Egon Schiele type body. I like it better now. Although
the
Reproduction isn't as good because it's mounted now and I couldn't scan it.
The good news is that it will be hanging in the "Face to Face" show at the CCCA Gallery in
Hudson. Opening is Friday June 12th, I'll be there if you're in the vicinity.

It's been a while, but I'm getting back into it. This is the latest of the "Fix a Human Series" . It
broaches the uncomfortable topic of Eugenics which I think could make a comeback in these
troubled times. It sort of imagines a melding of Social Darwinism and "Extreme Makeover" . By the
way, have you listened to Madviallain Yet?
They're brilliant. On heavy rotation while I drew this one.

I'm on it, that new gallery I promised will be here soon. I'm deep into the last piece. It's all about
the Figure, Healthcare, Botticelli, pseudo science, sex, Iconography, Love, and everything else. Go
Listen to my new favorite song "Animal" by Miike Snow in the meantime and I'll get back to you. I
might do one..more...piece...afterwards. Then I'm going to re-do the Bapistry doors.

First piece I'm submitting for the latest "A Book About Death" Show. This one is at MOMA Wales. I
thought it was appropriate to make it about the last Welsh Prince of Wales.

They're actually quite Rad. I just won 2nd prize in the Mixed Media Division at the Hudon Opera
House Juried Art Show. We had a great time at the opening and met loads of cool people. including
Graphic Novelist Barbara Slate who has some brilliant
reading on her website.

Those nice people at http://www.brooklynartproject.com Have featured
a piece of mine once again. The Same piece ( Garden of Eden, New York ) will be be on Display at
the CCCA Gallery For the "Black and White Show". It's at 209 Warren St. Hudson, NY. Opening is on
January 30th. Same day as my Son's Birthday Party so I'll probably miss it. But that doesn't mean
you have to! Go, get out, live a little, they'll give you free wine.

Big Holiday dry spell, I know. But I just finished a couple. One is for the "A Book About Death" show
in Sao Paolo. The second is entered in a juried show in Hudson. The first is called "Older than Our
Father." The second is called "Garden of Eden, New York" and references how every great place in
the world has a down and out namesake in Upstate NY.

This was for the "New Year's resolution contest" at http://www.fecalface.com/ I was a little
late with
it so it didn't post. It was the first FreeFridayz that I didn't represent in a whole year. I will
probably
be more selective about which ones I do now. Doing a whole year has been a great way of
keeping
creative momentum going and trying out new things. Sort of like a once a week art class
with a
week long critique. I'm going to make a gallery of all the FF's soon. in my free time.
Anyway happy
Twenty-Ought-Ten.

I'm going to be putting together an section of the online Gallery devoted to the "How to Fix a Human"
series. Here's a little of what you'll see there. This one's called "Prosthetic Tattoo"
and this one is "Replaceable Head"

Sam Owen is a guy who makes things happen. And he's cool enough to include other artists
in his
creative output. His latest is the FF+FF
Webzine which features work from artists who, like Sam and I, submit drawings to the
FreeFridayz drawing contest at Fecal Face Dot
Com
It takes while to load but is well worth it. Check out Sam's drizzly Skatepark Photos.

This is a new one that I tried to finish for the FF+FF webzine, but didn't make it in time. It's Part of
the "How to Fix a Human" Series. It's one of those ones where I came up with a title and then tried to
make some imagery to fit afterwards.
